Market Tour

The Seasonal Specialities menu is a three- course meal beginning with a market tour to select amazing Oaxacan produce. The style of food is contemporary, using Mexican, French and Italian cooking techniques and restaurant style presentation. It is highly participatory, though a high level of skill is not required as much as a love of food. Some of Oaxaca’s seasonal ingredients you may encounter are squash blossoms, wild mushrooms, wild greens or seasonally available seafood or meats. We select the finest available foods and let them speak for themselves, with more than a bit of flair. Please contact us for more details.

For something wonderful to carry home, try your hand at making Oaxaca’s famous hot chocolate from scratch. We will roast and peel our own beans, weigh out the flavourings before heading off to grind our own delicious chocolate.  After when we return, we will make two varieties of Oaxacan chorizo that you will be able to replicate at home. A quick couple of salsas later, we will have a light lunch of chorizo treats before sending you off with your own hot chocolate.
