About Our Classes
De La Tierra specialises in menu-based lessons focusing on authentic Mexican recipes as well as offering masterclasses in chorizo and cheese making. Classes start with a traditional hot chocolate and a brief talk on the history of Mexican cuisine. After some hands-on cooking and creating, you’ll be sitting down to sample artisan made mescal before enjoying your meal.
From early 2011 we will be working with some of Australia's leading cooking schools. Dates are currently being confirmed in Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra with more cities to be announced.
Private classes will also soon be available, arranged as a dinner cooked in your home with your participation. Please email us at travis@delatierra.com.au to express your interest.
